Girl Night Includes Watching Survivor on the LCD Television |

Earlier this morning my best friend called to ask if my husband was still out of town. I explained that he was, and that he should be returning sometime tomorrow afternoon as long as everything went according to schedule today. She asked if I felt like having company tonight for Survivor and said if I did she'd bring dinner. My best friend and I always usually text each other while we are watching Survivor, so I was thrilled that she wanted to come over and watch it with me on our new LCD television. Even though the screen on the LCD television isn't as huge as some of the others I've seen, the quality is amazing.
My husband and I have only been married about six months, and the first few months we used an old television that his parents gave us. Finally the thing went on the blink, and we decided to order the LCD television. The 22" LCD 1080P 5ms. Model - VT2230 that I found at Electronics for Tomorrow whose online store can be found by visiting http://electronicsfortomorrow.com. Since our funds are a little limited, we decided to go with the smaller LCD television for now, and are hoping that by the time Christmas rolls around that we can buy a larger LCD television and then move this one to our bedroom.
As much as I love having my husband home with me, I have to admit that on Survivor nights, I'm happy to have the LCD television to myself. He isn't a fan of the show, so he's been known to sit beside me while I'm watching it and make comments regarding the challenges and the contestants. It drives me nuts. Tonight, I'm happy to know that a fellow Survivor nut will be here with me and that we can discuss the show as we both sit in front of the LCD television instead of via text messaging. I think depending on what time she gets here, we may actually eat in front of the LCD television so that we don't have to miss a moment of the show. We'll definitely have a great time. Once the show is over, I'll ask her if she wants to watch a movie on the LCD television since neither one of us have to be anywhere in the morning or need to be anywhere tonight. I'm looking forward to my husband coming home tomorrow, but tonight I'm looking forward to spending some time with my best gal pal and the LCD television. |
