It is tough living in Los Angeles when NFL season comes around because there is no home team. Unlike the NBA, where Lakers’ pride bleeds through on every street corner, there is no home town football pride here. Everyone is out for a different team. That keeps things diversified, I guess. That being said, I’ll be watching the games this season by way of a LCD television. That is OK because it cuts costs way down. The money I’d spend on stadium tickets will go to food and booze. My group of friends has a Sunday tradition of getting together for the evening game. It is a great way to close out a weekend before starting up another workweek.
Along with an LCD television, it is key to have HiFi audio. What is football without the big hits, screaming crowd and barking players. Sound is just as important as high definition. I’ll be hosting some of the Sunday parties after buying a new HiFi audio receiver with more wattage. We have a rotating schedule of places for Sunday football to keep it interesting.
