Last night during dinner the subject of Christmas came up and I mentioned that I was going to start doing some Christmas shopping soon. My son was thrilled at this idea and said that he already knew one thing that he wanted and when I looked at him, his response was that he wanted an LCD television. I didn’t say anything, but looked at my husband, who shrugged his shoulders. I don’t know why I was surprised to hear that a 13 year old would want an LCD television, but I was. He loves playing video games, and I knew that having an LCD television of his own would mean that the game console was finally out of the living room and not cluttering up the space. I was constantly after him and my husband for leaving it in the middle of the living room, and I can’t tell you how many times the cat has got tangled in the cables while they are playing with him. The only thing that I said to my son was that I didn’t think so, but I plan to discuss the LCD television idea with my husband. It wouldn’t come without ground rules, but it’s definitely an idea, plus I know I can find one for a good price online at the same store we ordered ours from.
