My wife and I decided to change things up a bit this time around for Valentine’s Day yesterday—we still went out to eat, but we decided to avoid the crowded movie theaters and instead chose to rent some movies and watch them back at home on my home theater 5.1 system. I have a really nice home theater 5.1 system and a great LCD widescreen TV setup in my living room, so watching movies on it was nearly as good as the theater, and we were able to find a really great movie to enjoy watching on it together. I was happy to actually curl up with her on the couch with a blanket and enjoy using my home theater 5.1 system, and avoid paying for costly movie tickets and dealing with the crowds for a change. Also, seeing as I really splurged on gifts for her online this year, it was nice to save a few bucks after eating out by watching movies on my home theater 5.1 system together and being a bit different this year!
