Well, I decided to stay home for the Rose Bowl matchup. I’m leaning towards a Oregon Ducks win but after my home theater 5.1 speakers went wild because of a quick Ohio State touchdown, I am beginning to rethink what might happen. Both of these teams have explosive offenses. What I have started to notice in this first quarter is Ohio State has a defensive front who is able to chip away at the pocket. The Ducks are going to need to tighten up the O line if they want to have a hope of winning.
It is amazing how awesome the stadium looks on HD LCD televisions. The grass is so green, sun shining and it is a wonderful day for college football. I just wish my alma mater would have made a decent bowl. Sadly, they ended near the bottom of the Pac-10. There is nothing like a relaxing day marked with some loud sport fan screams over a home theater 5.1 system. This time of the year, sports fans like myself are in hog heaven. I’m so pumped for the Winter Olympics next month.
