When I found a great price on an LCD television online, I had no idea that it would be the tool that would open doors to the rest of the world for my son.    For months, he’d talked about how much he wanted an LCD television in his room, but I never really deemed that a necessity.   Then recently, when his birthday was around the corner, I happened to come across a LCD television for a fantastic price.   The screen was the perfect size for my son’s room without it being too large, and I decided to order it for him.     You can’t imagine the look on his face when he opened his gifts and saw the LCD television.    Since then he has became a huge fan of the travel channel and uses it to travel around the world without ever leaving the comfort of his own bedroom.     He’s told us during dinner about some of the amazing places he’s seen and now I’ve found myself curious about the travel channel.  I think I’ll start watching myself and see what places I can discover from the comforts of home.
