Last night I was watching the Travel channel on my new LCD television and I couldn’t help but have the feeling that I was traveling to each and every one of those places. For the half hour that each show was on, I found that the LCD television transported me to those faraway lands that I otherwise have only heard of. It was able to experience the culture, the countryside and even the people in a way as though I was right there, walking through the cobblestone streets.
My husband called me while I was watching and I explained that I didn’t have time to talk, that I was visiting the Great Barrier Reef. He laughed and commented that he could see I was making good use of the new LCD television and he was right. I was so excited when I stumbled across the great deal online for the LCD television that I ordered it without even thinking about asking my husband. I eventually told him when he got home that evening and he was as thrilled as I was about the price. I never thought that it would allow me to experience other cultures and countries from the comforts of home.
