Last week my husband and I had just put the finishing touches on the remodel of our house. We had been working on and off for the last few months because I wanted to expand the den into a greatroom and open up the whole area for entertainment. My husband fortunately liked the idea and between our own work and a couple of good contractors it was finally completed. We were able now to put in a pool table with an LCD television mounted on the wall next to it as well as a conversation area with a dedicated LCD television. Now the kids could watch programs or play games on one LCD television while my husband and I played a game of pool and could also keep up with the news on the other LCD television. We all loved the remodel because we had all participated and each gaven our input into it's design. Naturally no sooner was it completed when my parents called and announced they were coming for a visit in two weeks. They would only be staying the weekend and then moving on to California for a Navy reunion for my Dad. On the one hand
I was thrilled to be able to see them as it had been a while and I did want them to see the finished product of the greatroom. The kids were all excited because they love Grandma and Grandpa but on the other I knew I needed to now buy another LCD television for the guest room and there wasn't a lot of time.
My Dad loves to go to bed and watch late night TV and I knew he would not be comfortable without a LCD television. When it arrive we were able to get it mounted in no time and I even had time to buy a new comforter set and matching window coverings so spruce the room up even more. They were in moms favorite colors so I knew she would be happy as well.
