There were a lot of surprises last night during the finale of American Idol. From the Bret Michaels’ performance to the chosen winner, it all made for great TV. While I don’t agree with the winning decision, each one of the final two are going to do big things for contemporary music. I feel like the results are a little bit stilted when it comes down to the end since most of the people voting are young girls, which gives the advantage to any guy in the running. Either way all the music and performances looked and sounded great on the home theater 5.1 system and LCD television.
There is nothing sweeter then a solid voice. What I love about both the finalists sound is they are a little bit mid-90s rock. It is a singing style that ruled back then and hopefully they can bring back today. Raspy, soul is what the radio is missing. The entire reason I spent all the money I did online for HiFi audio components was for a better musical experience. It paid off.
