This summer when my husband and I were traveling across country for vacation, I was surprised to see a LCD television in several of the fast food restaurants that we visited. I remember the days when I was younger that you would never see a television in a fast food restaurant, but obviously things have changed. My husband and I sat close to the LCD television and we actually watched the news while we ate our hamburger. It allowed us to catch up on what was happening in the world, and yet when we got home we found that our local fast food restaurant didn’t have the same feature. We asked them about why they didn’t have an LCD television and they said that the owner mentioned them getting one, but so far it hadn’t happened. My husband and I recently ordered our second LCD television and I think I may get a small one for the kitchen for Christmas. They are so handy and take up literally no space. I don’t think my sister believed me about the fast food restaurants, but last night when we stopped in locally again, I saw that the LCD television now hangs proudly in the front corner of the restaurant.
