This morning I was surprised when I came home from the grocery store to find my husband still at home. He usually leaves for work around 8:30 and when I got home at around ten he was still home. At first I thought something may have been wrong, but when I walked in the door and saw an LCD television box lying by the back door I knew something completely different was up. I walked into the living room where he was sitting with his brother in front of the LCD television that they’d just mounted on the wall. I have to admit that the LCD television looked great in the place they’d chosen to hang it, but I had no idea that my husband had even ordered one. He looked at me sheepishly and smiled and I knew then that he’d been hoping it would be a surprise. I smiled at him and he said that he’d hoped to surprise me with the LCD television but that I got back before they were finished. Apparently it had been delivered to my brother in laws house the day before and my husband had taken the day off work to set things up. I’d say the surprise definitely worked.
