lcd television, flat panel televisionSince my roommate sold his flat panel television set up in the living room for cash and I had to move mine out of my bedroom and into the common area, it’s been tough waking up to a cable box not connected to anything. I got tired of paying for this box for no reason while my roommate saves for a new LCD television so I called a friend who had an extra tube TV. He kept it in his garage for whatever reason. He was happy to lend it to me. I almost killed myself moving it from my trunk to my bedroom dresser but it’s powered now. It is amazing what a difference an LCD television makes. This old tube TV has a faint buzz in the background of the volume when on, the picture doesn’t exactly fit on the screen and the colors remind me of the old country.

It is better than nothing though. It is no wonder my friend never sold this TV. It is probably worth five bucks in the classifieds. It is a better back up. You really don’t know what you got until it is gone.
